During the summer of 2012 the Chaska Area Chapter of Let’s Go Fishing took 85 trips accomodating nearly 1,000 Active Older Adults and kids. Over 75 Chaska Area Lets Go Fishing volunteer captains and firstmates are excited about the 2013 pontoon and fishing season on beautiful Lake Minnetonka.
We accommodated many area nursing homes, church groups, assisted living facilities, senior centers, card clubs and youth groups. We also take a few Grandparent & Grandchild fishing trips and evening lake crusies each year with all trips departing from Howard’s Point Marina. The Chaska chapter initiated the youth fishing program starting in 2010 and this summer has started a program to accomodate young adults with disabilities.
